One of Miskolc's favourite markets is the Antique Market, held on the first Sunday of every month. During the event, from the early morning hours until early afternoon, the pedestrian street of the city centre, Déryné Street, and several larger squares, including Erzsébet Square and Városház Square, are filled with a multitude of antiques. The event is not just for collectors or shoppers; the countless historical items and memorabilia are a fascinating sight in themselves. Street musicians add to the lively market atmosphere.
