Country Linedance Dance House

The SteelCity Linedance Association team has been leading linedance in Miskolc for nearly 8 years, forming a friendly community. Since 1 August 2023, they have been operating as an association.

Linedance is not just a dance but a way of life: a source of shared joy, laughter, and meaningful connections for all ages. The styles range from classic country to the latest pop and rock hits.

In their weekly sessions, you can learn new dances and practise familiar choreographies. Twice a year, they organise large-scale events and regularly perform at cultural centre programmes.

Once a month, they also host a dance house where everyone – even without a partner – can try this form of movement and experience the unique vibe. Participants are welcomed with beginner-level, simple choreographies.

The sessions are led by the group’s artistic director, Bea Ésik, but all team members take part in the dancing. The dance house is free of charge, thanks to the association.
