Jams, specialities, and syrups made from locally grown fruit, following unique recipes, without preservatives. Since 2012, this family-run workshop has been handcrafting jams, specialities, and syrups from locally grown fruit, using their own recipes and without preservatives. These are truly artisanal, homemade products that preserve the original taste, colour, aroma, and vitamins of the fruit. The fruit is washed, peeled, chopped, pressed, filled, bottled, and labelled by hand. Their motto: “If we wouldn’t eat it ourselves, we won’t give it to others!” They are also certified by the Aggtelek National Park. Collaborating with renowned cheesemakers, their jams pair not only with desserts but also with cheeses. Their syrups can be enjoyed as refreshing summer drinks, mixed with wine as cocktails, or as fruity teas in winter. Csicsörke Workshop’s jams and syrups can be found in local hotels, delis, bistros, restaurants, and cafés. At their workshop, you can purchase products, enjoy cakes on weekends, request syrup and jam tastings, and even attend cooking classes if there is sufficient interest. These are available by prior arrangement!
