The Ugron Castle in Fiatfalva, now a hotel

The Ugron Castle in Fiatfalva is no longer just a historical landmark but also a unique accommodation for those seeking an extraordinary experience. During the 2021–2024 heritage restoration, the castle's interiors were completely renewed, and the spaces were designed to meet modern hotel standards while preserving the atmosphere of a 19th-century noble home.

Guests can enjoy elegantly furnished en-suite rooms, each with its own unique character, designed to complement the architectural details of the castle. Some rooms overlook the castle courtyard, while others face the historic park, allowing guests to enjoy tranquillity, the closeness of nature, and the atmosphere of the past.

The castle features a generously designed ballroom, several lounges, and a restored cross-vaulted wine cellar, which is an excellent venue for wine tastings, festive dinners, or team-building events. Guests can also use the castle's chapel, which is not only a peaceful retreat but can also be rented for small ceremonies (e.g., weddings, christenings).

The castle park offers walking paths, shaded groves, and resting areas, providing visitors with a harmonious blend of nature and culture. The accommodation is an ideal choice for couples, small groups of friends, families, or even participants of corporate or themed events.

In operating the castle as accommodation, the owners place great emphasis on sustainability: modernised utility systems, energy-efficient operations, and meals prepared from local ingredients all contribute to making the time spent here both enjoyable and meaningful.

Staying here is not just about sleeping in a castle room; it’s about becoming part of a centuries-old story – a world where the old and the new come together.
