“We’re telling a story with the freedom and possibilities that a storytelling situation allows. That is, with boundless imagination, playfully yet taking it seriously, just as one speaks seriously to children about love, death, honour, and friendship.
I thought certain roles would pass me by. I was wrong. They caught up with me. But to think I’d even play the Nurse – that was an unexpected surprise. But a pleasant one. Our goal is to bring out the message of the play, the Romeo and Juliet written by Shakespeare.”
